The 2020 Meursault Meix Chavaux is broody and more introspective than the Clos du Cromin, hints of hazelnut and fresh lime, perhaps this cuvée needing a little more terroir expression. The palate is balanced with orange rind and lemon zest, just a touch of bitterness, fresh grapefruit towards the pointed finish though again, I would hope that more terroir will develop by the time of bottling.
